Most of us dream of being able to do work that is both meaningful and enjoyable, and I feel very fortunate to have found that lucky combination: I’m able to help people get the results that they’re after, and I really like the work itself.
I’ve had the opportunity to be involved in quite a variety of hair removal projects, and have been witness to some pretty dramatic transfomations. It makes me really happy to help other people feel better about themselves, and to assist in accomplishing something that is so important to them, especially when it ends up significantly improving the quality of their lives.
For so many people, the struggle with unwanted hair has been a long and painful one, and sometimes it’s hard to believe that anything will help. From my perspective, I know that electrolysis works, but what really matters is that magic moment (and it always comes!) when the client first realizes that things are finally starting to look different, and is finally able to start believing that the end is in sight.
Over the years, I’ve met so many wonderful and interesting clients, and together we’ve accomplished some significant projects. I’ve had so many great conversations and heard a lot of good stories, all while doing something that’s so enjoyable – it’s hard to imagine a better way to spend a work-day.

I understand that choosing electrolysis can be a big decision – this is why I like to offer a free sample treatment with the consultation, so that a potential client not only understands the nuts and bolts of the process, but actually gets to personally experience the process. It also allows us to get a feel for how much area we can cover in a given amount of time.
Feel free to write or call any time (off-hours sometimes have better odds) with questions, or to set up a consultation – all calls are forwarded to my cell phone, so unless I’m with another client or otherwise unavailable, I’ll be able to take your call. I look forward to meeting you and being of service.
I received my training at the Aesthetics Institute in Southeast Portland, which is operated by Cynthia Mendoza, LE, CPE, LEI – she is a master electrologist and a wonderful teacher, and I will always be thankful to her for so thoroughly preparing me to do the work that I do. It is a real testament to her skill and guidance that I actually felt confident in my abilities when it came time to strike out on my own. I started my practice in March of 1997, and have never looked back.
